In the New Age section in one of the local Barnes and Noble stores, they carry a CD which was specifically designed to put you right to sleep. I need that, my mind is far too active, even at night.

Why is that so many artists who cover Happy Xmas (War Is Over) get the lyrics wrong? Is it because they are too lazy to listen to the original track, and trust internet lyric sites instead these days? I’ll never understand why anyone would be impressed by this. Artists like Sileas make her sound like Jessica Simpson in comparison.

I don’t hate Joanna Newsom personally persay, I just don’t understand why in hell some music critic NPR was so enthralled by her. Granted, I’ve avoided Kristy Thirsk’s latest work due to 30-second clips, but a lot of it had to do with the fact there was so few, combined with her whining about downloading and Napster in years past (why yes, I am still bitter).
