yeah they are terribly amusing. I really love them as well in a "hmm wants to read something light and fun tonight? Oh, yeah, Brust's!" way.
And it's funny I keep wanting to make a table of correlation of the Houss with the L5R clans >_>;;

Parker's deeply fascinating! Really not lightweighted or happy-happy but extremely well written and original. ♥

Full agreement on both Friedman and Brust.

KJ Parker sounds interesting. There isn't nearly enough dark and cynical out there.

Parker: I do heavily reccomend her, at least for the people who can bear the darkness! She's got a third cycle of fantasy out which I need to find as well ^^

Brust is fun reading I think. I have only read a few. Did you know he has a livejournal at skzbrust? Entertaining reading for sure.

Donc c'est simple : tu déménages plus loin. Tu paie moins de loyer, tu utilise l'argent économisé pour t'acheter plus de bouquins, et le temps de trajet suplémentaire pour les lire. CQFD.

Ah Zelazny! Chouette ^^ j'espère que tu aimeras.

KJ Parker is the most original author out there. I still can;t decide if the scavenger trilogy totally frustrated me or if I loved it. Both I suppose. I read them as they came out and I had to wait ages between books and I really wanted mymemory to come back!! Nothing made sense. Quite an amazing ending too. Definitely top class stuff.

yeah, she's quite amazing. I think I loved and was frustrated equally as well XD. Hahaha, I was glad I had bought all three books at the same time.
I think the only true criticism I would have made is the change in a character to the female character between the first and third book.
