I'm more than ready for a cute bit of fluff when this month is over so I'm downloading from AO3 in readiness! Just as an aside, the fennec fox used to be one of my fave animals when I was a kid!

Can you believe I didn't even know fennec foxes existed before I started writing this fic? I was looking for cute animals and found that pokémon-look-alike cute little fox. And then I watched videos on youtube and realize I had spent three hours "awwwing" in front of fennecs running, mewling, barking, being overall adorable.

I hope you'll like it. It's a light, funny fic -I needed to write something like this before jumping back into my usual angst-hurt-comfort.

This was such an adorable story - I read the whole thing this morning before I went to work! Such an unusual animal to choose for Dean. I knew what Fennec foxes looked like, but you inspired me to go looking on Youtube to see what they SOUNDED like, and now I'm even more in love with this fic. It's gone straight into my memories :)

Awww thank you!!! Writing this fic and getting infos about the fennec (my friend disneymagics had two criteria for the animal Dean would be: it had to be small enough for Sam to be able to take it in his arms, and somhow exotic -not the usual cat or dog.)

And now, I want one! So bad.
