Ohhhhh... how heartbreakingly beautiful!! I really think that the interaction between the two of them in the show really pointed to deep emotion, and your story fits that so nicely. I love the ending because it's a bit of an upwards emotional lift - it doesn't make it all better, and things *shouldn't* be all better at that point, but it gives hope, which is so nice. Plus, Sam's lines at the end were just funny and meaningful.
