haha they are fine, although I now have tonsilitis. They might have to do minor surgery tomorrow to drain them which is kind of scary. But I'm not sore anymore, just still mentally emotional. Everytime I hear Snow Patrol "Open Your Eyes" I get all teary. And the hawaiian version of Over the Rainbow/Wonderful Life.

I have those songs on my itunes. Isn't it cool and annoying that songs bring so much emotion?

Yes! I mean it's great to relive the emotions of that time and just feel how great something that you did is, but at the same time it's uncontrollable. The song comes on and no matter where you are you just start crying. Not very helpful when you're watching tv with a bunch of friends and that kellogs commerical for rice krispies comes on and I just start crying haha. They're all like... "what's wrong?" haha

Well, I hadn't heard of Thon. I did a little Googling and discovered that Penn State is the home, creator and inventor of this thing. I also didn't get at first that the main activity is dancing. I have to say that the "official" press releasy description is quite a bit blander than your reconstruction.

Very intense. Too intense, perhaps? No one can sit. No one can sleep. Moralers (what are they exactly?) And what does WIB stand for? Don't hit me -- it sounds like something that would be done to break someone in for a cult. (I repeat: don't hit me.)

I'll tell you, it gives me much to think about.

Each dancer has a moraler who is on shifts. They come and bring you toys to play with and food and anything you ask for to keep you going.

WIB stands for Women In Business. It's the club that I danced for last year. This year they didn't pick me so I had to fight for an independent dancer spot.

It is very intense, but it is so completely worth it. It's definately the best thing I have ever done in my entire life.

Thanks for taking what I wrote the right way. From your description, not everyone is quite up to the intensity. It seems to be stimulating for you, however. Everyone is different. And congratulations. :)
