Much as part of me wanted to say, "Nooooooooooooo," at your AN, another part of me is avidly rereading this beautifully crafted crack, with the lovely lovely descriptions of Dan changing and his bewilderment. The image of Walter parting Dan's feathers searching for god knows what he saw in those "inappropriate" books shall remain burnt into my mind.

But seriously, don't abandon your older progeny! The new one looks seriously cute and gorgeous, but you still love the older ones... don't you?
