This was so beautifully written even though it's filled with pain. I love the contrast. I enjoyed seeing more of Subaru's time with Seishirou and I feel so bad for him! Subaru really doesn't feel any self worth. This really is a brillant fic :)

The development is beautiful and horrible (beuatifully horrible? Horribly beautiful?), especially the fact that Seishirou seems to "get" Subaru and punishes him regardless.
The last two paragraphs feel a bit like they belong at another point of the story though.

Yeah. Subaru heals, Seishirou punishes is a running theme of sorts in their relationship.

You own the story once I put it out there so I can't really say you're wrong. However, my intention in that scene was to change from a very intense development to something much more typical between the two of very without any transition at all. Seishirou shuts down the conversation of 'why', Subaru accepts and then they (for now) move on as if nothing happened.

I don't post this fic there and won't 'till it's finished.

All that stuff with Seishirou's change is actually a plot point (lols there is a plot yes). But the emotional stuff you mentioned is there too.

Does it have anything to do with 'how' he's getting injured?Indirectly, yes ( ... )
