FLIST, I may have actually written something in the order of 20,000 words of assorted fics (mostly Valdemar) in the past two weeks. Yay, writing! And yeah, while it's not good that your mind is deciding it's time to veer off the tracks, at least you recognise the signs and can prepare as much as possible for what's coming. You keep looking after yourself, okay?

also, all of my Valdemar stuff (which, um, quite a bit? Because I have been trundling around in it for over a decade now) is over on the Pit of Voles. i tend to utterly forget to post anywhere about putting up Valdemar stuff for some reason.

That is me, yep (I'm tres original with the name). That vast majority of my stuff--in keeping with the apparent fandom ethic of use-world-to-build-further is OC stuff, but I have done some canon stuff too (and, huh, maybe that's why I don't announce my Valdemar stuff over here--my LJ fandom experience is very much about the canon characters and so on, whereas Valdemar has always been yay!stories) :)

Please to be taking care of yourself. It is wonderful that are getting a handle on what your body is doing, now if we can only figure out a way to make it do less?

The current method is meeeeedication and occasional sullen staring matches with NHS-employed counsellors which, y'know, kinda blows, but does seem to have tamped things down onto something more of an even keel (a few years back were...messy. and the fact that I can actually now admit that is probably a bigger step forwards than I give myself credit for).

Mainly I'm determined to enjoy the ability to get my story ideas down in some kind of tangible form for as long as I can. Because, really? Hooray, writing!
