Hmmm - well, most of the work on these types of dresses *is* handwork for me, so that's a tricky question. I did a round-neck trossfrau in three days once, but I averaged more than ten hours of work a day to do it. For the Saxons, since they're fiddly, I usually figure about seven full days of work - more if the sleeves are particularly complicated.
Are you finishing all the seams by hand too? I am a slow sewer. I figure it takes me 2 hours to cut out and do the long seams on Normans or Norse tunics, and then several hours of handwork. My hour estimate on handwork depends on the color of the fabric. A white dress can be hemmed (less than 3 hours) and seams turned in 2 weeks at about 2 and a half hours a day. White is so hard to keep working on. Blues and greens only take a few hours and warm colors like orange take about a day and a half.
I barely count handwork as work. It is very relaxing to me. The hard part for me is the machine work.
So if you find your closet getting a little crowded let me know. The two dresses I purchased from you earlier fit me perfectly, we could practically be twins. :)

Now that I've written it all down, even I'm scared.

I love the idea of you swanning around in my clothes :-) It makes me feel a little like you are still here.
