We watched "Hotaru no Haka" ("Grave of the Fireflies") for Japanese Culture and Civilization class today. It's a very moving anime set in World War II Japan, and I highly recommend it. A few friends and I watched Grave of the Fireflies for our first and only screening of an anime screening get together. We were so traumatized by it that we never got around to watching other movies together. It is such a wonderful movie, though.
