I've been toying with the idea of making this blog a little more directed. It has always been (for the last nine years I've had it, sweet clattering mackerels) a mixture of "this is what I did today," and "here's something amusing to read." Looking up lyrics on the internet is always an adventure. There are millions of those bloody lyrics sites, and since they're all wikis more or less, you find some very...creative interpretations.

The bad news is that Nickel Creek is going on a "break of indefinite length." It's understandable: they've been a band for 17 years, and the last seven have been spent recording and touring nearly nonstop. I love my roommates.
Came home from work today and Jake was out buying stuff for dinner. All three of us crammed into the little kitchen and made ravioli with meatballs and marinara, and garlic bread. I doctored up the sauce-inna-jar that Jake bought and it tasted pretty good. Then we all sat and ate and watched Law and Order.
