It looks like I'm going to be an effing secretary or something - that's what the girl I'm replacing basically told me today, that I more or less work as a personal assistant to one of the sub-bosses. Plus, of course, the rest of the team also bosses you around. WTF ( Read more... )

I think the work itself will be just... stupid. I'd prefer something creatively challenging - something that would require me to come up with creative ideas, put them into practice. So far it seems the height of creativity for this specific position is editing pictures in MS Paint (!!!) and inserting them into a PowerPoint presentation. :/ I somehow expected more...

This said, I am still contemplating the stripper option. ;)

well, at least our CEO is nice - I have to deal with him too when my chief is absent (as now, for example). he even knows Lady Gaga LOL (he's around 50-year-old Dutch).

I hoped for a new PR vacancy here inside the company - well still am hoping - but due to the crisis seems it won't be open in the nearest future... but to change job now is also veeery risky and no guarantee the new one will be better, plus I like our collective, so for now I'll stick here, then we'll see. I want to move on, but the problem is - I don't exactly know where to...
