Well, it's English class time, and we actually have a lecture that's halfway decent, so rather than completely ignore it in an attempt to write some essays, I'm gonna do something that uses less brain power:

In the words of someone much smarter than you... If it ain't broke, don't fix it. People who play Pokémon want to play Pokémon. The game you're describing already exists out there and if people want to play that they can go play that and damn Pokémon to hell. Besides, you can create challenges for yourself, by only catching one type for example, then there's invariably going to be a few gyms that you'll have a hell of a time trying to beat.

The only new thing I want Pokémon to do is make an MMORPG... most epic MMORPG evar.

I'll agree that yes, the formula does work. Note I still plan on playing it, despite the fact that I've just finished Pokemon Leaf Green in between whipping Dracula's ass
