Awesome recap! Definitely in the top three I've come across yet! You've unearthed loads of background info! I totally didn't get the bit where Danny's father was a firefighter -- another rewatch, methinks! Such a hardship, that. Sigh.

Though, in the interest of getting all our info in one place -- Danny mentions sisters, plural! (when he's talking Matty out of leaving, in his hotel room), AND Danny says his leaving party was a year ago, so he's been in Hawaii a whole year now! \0/

Okay, I'm done. Here, let's look at Steve's face when he figures out that he's a total goner for his partner.

YES! Good catches. We don't know how many sisters, but a year! :))))

And yeah, Steve is such a goner, lying for him to the Feds? and Danny grabbing and yanking Steve closer? Not even blinking when Steve says he wants to meet his brother? They are losing all the boundaries.

Scott was utterly fantastic. So many subtle cues about his deep love and dogged loyalty and his yet growing unhappy certainty that Matt was dirty. And oh, his desperate pain and conflicting impulses at the end. :((((
