Winter Solder: WTFun

Jun 22, 2015 21:14

So I am rewatching Winter Solder, mainly for the eye candy, but also because I had to see that scene again where Nick Fury kicks all sorts of ass using nothing but a sass-mouthed, bullet-proof SUV, a broken arm, and his steely nerves. OMG. Nick Fury. <3 Bonus points for leaving the Winter Soldier staring at a burning hole in the ground. ( I guess I should still cut for spoilers tho. )

I'm with you on loving this movie. Sometimes you have to stop caring if it makes sense and just go for the ride. (grin)

:D I think it was around the time Cap's testicles tangled with his lower intestines.

Now, see, they'd so target you because you're wicked smart and would hack the helicarriers in a heartbeat but there's this thing called THE CURVATURE OF THE EARTH standing in the way, omg, so sad for Hydra.

And yeah, self-targeting drones launched from a secret base in Antarctica. That would work so much better. Wherever did you get that idea? *koff*

There are times when I wish I could see all the plot holes more easily, because I bet that would make me a better writer. But then there are times when I'm happy I can't, because then I can focus on the eye candy more ;)

It's always interesting to read how others see a movie though, and learn about the fails that way :D (I also learn a lot from the bf, you can tell how much the science and stuff sucks in the movie by the amount of frustrated sighing... He can't really watch tv-series or movies that much. Unless it's like really old sci-fi movies, or some whacky/interesting anime :D)

To me there's just so much to love about both Captain America movies, and the next time I rewatch them, I'll be keeping an eye for all the things you mentioned :)
