that my hands and feet haven't felt warm in weeks.

It also hailed today. Like gigantic blocks of ice fell instead of water. At first we thought it was rain but the sound was too loud for it and the ground was covered in white afterwards. But fuck me. It's about 18 degrees here - about as warm as it'll get! Just out of curiosity do you live in HK or Aukland? Both places I'd love to visit.

I live in Auckland! My parents live here too. But I was born in Hong Kong and my grandparents and many relatives live in Hong Kong or China. I don't often go back to HK but when I do, I'm more of a foreigner!

If you come to Auckland, I'll love to take you around! So please visit one day.

Hope it warms up for you! I wish I could give you some of the heat here in the American Southwest. My city is in triple-digit (Fahrenheit) temperatures now. Meh.

Wow, I had no idea any washing machine could play a national anthem. LOL!

It's going to get colder before it gets warmer! We've still got a few months before the end of winter. =(

haha I heard one of the technicians got bored and programmed it into it. He was going to remove it before the machines shipped and also before the boss found out. But the boss found out and he was like lol leave it in! But they never told anyone.

That's like my Caribbean vacation in January of this year - going to temps up to mid 30's and coming home to -20. While it sucks, it's still worth having the break.

I wonder if a washing machine that plays the national anthem causes people to stand in front of their washing machines instead of going to sit down.... I guess it depends on one's personal level of OCD. :p

People here are okay with sitting while listening to the anthem. We aren't really that patriotic. Well, I think it's just because we're a lazy bunch.
