The whole point of having a computer is to use it, right? Mine is a cute little Dell Inspiron, and has lasted the family nearly four years (Okay, technically she's not mine yet, but hey, I use her more than anyone else, so there!). We had our ups and downs with her motherboard a few years back, but then everything went back to normal. No problem, ( Read more... )

Is your computer a laptop or something? Because I'm not sure the others have batteries that can make it impossible to use. O_o At any rate, you should tell your family outright what the problem is and that you're not too charmed at the prospect of having it crash thanks to their not-careful-enough treatment. D: Hopefully they'd understand? xD

Oh yay you took up Ouran! It's an awesome series--I loved the anime but I haven't decided to pick up the manga yet. I prefer to read it when it's finally completed, though I'm not entirely sure if that would be any time this century... O_o

Either way, it's amazing and I've heard the same about Vampire Knight, so good going, girl! :>

Mamoru Miyano is an incredible seiyuu--I adore him. :>

Yeah, laptop. I'm considering switching over to one of those tricked out desktops they have out now (though also horrendously expensive). And it's a bit difficult to tell them off about the comp cause my dad uses it to go to college. And my mom is constantly playing solitare or something. Oh well...I can't wait till my dad's comp is up and running ( ... )

Well, your father at the very least is doing some serious work with the laptop but can't your mom find something else to busy herself with? xD I don't mean to be disrespectful but it's not like computer solitaire is all that interesting. O_o

Oh yes, Ouran was a very out of the ordinary shoujo, wasn't it? Though the anime was more of a comedy thing and not emphasizing on the shoujo side of it nearly as much as the manga is recently. It's kind of funny but I haven't read any of the volumes before the past two or three chapters that I've actually read. I'm waiting for it to complete before I pick it up--again, with my dislike of getting hooked on stuff and then being left hanging for long periods of time. The very reason why I haven't picked up Vampire Knight yet as well, even though the art style attracts me greatly, as you said yourself. :>

I mean, who else could make such a dorky guy come to life? Akira Ishida. In an even more mind-blowing sort of way because he's simply amazing like that. xD

My mom can NEVER find something serious to do with a computer. She loves her solitare. But she did plan most of our vacations with it, so I guess I can't complain (Disneyworld in three weeks!) XD

I finished the manga, but I've barely started the anime. Plus, all I read were translations from Japan, so I'm really hoping the official english books are a better read. And I'm too impatient for a manga to finish before I read it. It usually takes freakin forever.

Vampire Knight is well worth the wait, though I have a feeling it'll be going a bit longer. '^^

Hmm...name sounds familiar...where's he from?
