For all us grammar whores, I couldn't resist this "Get Fuzzy" strip, so I made it into an icon. Seriously, isn't that the reaction of anyone to whom you recommend using capital letters, proper punctuation and a less one-letter replacements for words than Prince ever did? LOL! That's fantastic.

And I know what you mean about grammar and spelling. I don't think of myself as a grammar and spelling Nazi (except where it counts - ask anyone who's attended a TT Programme Book editing meeting in the last five years), but when I see a blatantly misspelled word I cringe.

There are a couple of people at TrekBBS who are consistently bad with spelling and grammar, though, and they don't bother me - one has a medical condition that makes typing painful, so I forgive her her lack of capitalization. The other is a farmer, so I suspect his education isn't all that extensive (though his ellipses, made up of a random number of commas tend to get on my nerves a little). It's the ones who I think should know better that bother me the most.

The one error, however, that always gets on my tits is when someone misspells "grammar" as "grammer". I always want to post a picture of Captain Morgan Bateson in response (hey, it is a ( ... )

Have you seen the animated gif of "your" having an apostrophe and "e" inserted to make it "you're?" It's CLASSIC. :D

But I wouldn't................ know anything,,,,,,,,,,,,,, about those silly................ what do you call them??????????????? elipitcals???????????????? LOL................... :D
