No one's heard of Kefka returning, have they? I know I probably would have heard of or from him by now, but I just want to be sure.

[Adell will probably run into Terra somewhere on her way home from the barracks. ...Probably literally, as they both round the same corner going both ways. Oops.]

[Unfortunately for them both, Terra has begun to pick up speed without realizing it. She isn't running, but her stride is definitely brisk. The result is a firm collision. She can't even cry out, since the air is effectively driven out of her lungs. And she loses her balance, stumbling and landing on the ground.]

[Off guard, the impact staggers Adell off his feet, but he spins around to try to regain his balance. Failing. And landing flat on his face.]

[Terra blinks, dazed, then her eyes widen as she realizes who she knocked over. Immediately, she scrambles to her feet to offer him a hand up.]

Adell! I'm so sorry!

No sign of Kefka. It's safe to say he's not in this wave of New Feathers.

I'm really glad. It's not like he was ever that good at being subtle for long, but for the short term, sometimes he could manage it....

...I haven't seen any sign of the others, though.

[Hermione's just somewhere close by when Terra's nearly home and the fact that Terra nearly runs into her is what clues her in that something's up. Sidestepping the distracted girl, Hermione stops and frowns.]

Terra? Is everything all right?

[Terra turns and pauses, startled.]

Oh--I'm sorry! I almost walked into you, didn't I?

It's all right. I wasn't paying much attention, either.

[she looks terra over, though.] You looked like you were thinking about something.

[Terra nods, tugging at her ponytail a little.]

It's been a year since I arrived. Realizing that has made me think about how much has happened in that time.
