Dramatis Personae
Jon Littledragon, professional model. He is sometimes allowed to take home the clothes he models.
Emmy Littledragon, his wife.
Setting
The living room of Littledragon house.
JON: I’m home! And look, here’s today’s suit.
EMMY: It’s green?
JON: It’s hunter. Or maybe black forest? Anyway, green is the new brown - conservative, yet individual. Not as universal as burgundy, though.
EMMY: Burgundy?
JON: Burgundy is the new navy: conservative and acceptable anywhere. You can dress it up or down.
EMMY: So blue is out?
JON: No, blue is the new black - goes with everything, and is too severe in large doses. Black is the new red.
EMMY: So what happened to the old red?
JON: It’s the new denim.
EMMY: And denim?
JON: It’s the new khaki.
EMMY: But khaki’s still a thing.
JON: Classic khaki is the new olive drab.
EMMY: Olive drab?
JON: It’s a green.
EMMY (thoroughly confused): So basically, your new suit is khaki?
JON: Which is a brown, which is what I said. Do you want to go out for dinner, or just order a pizza?
