Wayne's brother-in-law Travis had an extra MagicBus voucher for a day-trip into Jasper and offered to me so I could have another go at snowboarding for this year.

The conditions were amazing. I wish Wayne didn't have to be on-call this weekend because of these conditions. Sun all day and the snow was absolutely perfect.

Wayne and I had a great go of it but I think our spring is coming so the local ski and boarding scene is coming to a close. There still may be a chance to go back to the mountains but we'll have to play that one by ear. Its that time of year again when Joe FM here in Edmonton has their Joe in Jasper trip. Wayne and I went for the last 2 years and had a great time.

This year we have 4 friends joining us so its should be even better.

I'll try to post when we're in Jasper but I might be pre-occupied with mountain fun.

Last weekend, Wayne and I went to Banff for skiing and other winter fun. I skied on Saturday at Lake Louise but decided to go Tubing at Mt Norquay on Sunday.

Since Hum passed away 1 year and a half ago (I had to have him put down due to Feline Diabetes and severe arthritis) and with Braxton being gone for over 6 months, the house has been feeling so empty. Well, I have made it through 1 month in the new job and I have survived. Not that the days weren't sometimes a bit over the top but with every high, there is a low.
