Fandom: television and games and comic books

January, kind of a month. But I'm still around and trying to get caught up on my flist reading. I'm also updating my flists; if you're posting to both DW and LJ, especially if you only allow comments on DW, I am removing you from the LJ flist and strictly reading at DW. The balance of my reading is done on DW, I head there first, and I cross-post ( Read more... )

Are you watching Being Human? It has a Jewish werewolf!

I failed to specify a version; I could have been talking about the original! Pipe down, England.

And I was just preparing to ask which one you meant. Heh.

I've only seen a couple episodes of the original. (I loved the pilot so hard and then two of the actors changed from the pilot to the show and I had a hard time getting into it at that point.) But I do plan to watch both the original and the remake, because werewolf! Vampire! Ghost! So up my alley.

I was never into Joshua Jackson until FRINGE. I remember him in The Mighty Ducks, although the memory's pretty vague now seeing as I haven't seen those movies in years. But yeah, he won me over, too. Although I could smack the crap out of Peter right now.

My brain would probably break trying to write FRINGE fanfic, though. It's one of the few shows that actually keeps me on my toes and surprises me. So topping it wouldn't be worth it for me. There's nothing to really improve upon.

Also, I am guessing that I should stop watching for a massive amount of belated Christmas cards from you. Someday my whole mailbox is going to be filled with nothing but, isn't it. ;)

You should probably stop watching every day, yes, but I do have a package for you, I just haven't been able to make it to the post office while it is open. (Saturdays are the only time I'm not at work during post office hours, and that has sort of failed lately.) I managed to get out the ones that only needed stamps this year on time, but anything that involved going to the post office has kind of ailed.

Dude, I wonder if I can send them from work. I should look into that.

Actually, looking at my list, I only managed to get out 3/4 of the ones that only needed stamps. Maybe I will send Vday cards instead to the other 1/4.

You could put "my last name Associates" on it, as the receiver. My boss did that one time when she mailed me junk for the website from her work. It arrived perfectly fine.

I know all about the failure that is trying to get to the post office. We all need those tubes like the bank has at the drive ups.

Ooo, a package! Now I'm all curious. (And you know what they say about catsbats and curiosity...)

I think that you should totally start writing Garcia/Morgan fic. Especially before the series began, because even in the first ep they talk to each other like that and I want to know how it all started! lol Not that you're my own personal fic writer or anything, but yeah, that would be awesome.

I've definitely gone from "Eh, guess I should watch Fringe" to "OMG there's a new FRINGE!" lately. Although, I was a much bigger fan of Pacey than Dawson back in the day.
