No offense to the wolves, but I think Obama is far too charming to be a Stark. Plus, Starks are all about "old gods" and stuff while Obama is all about "change". Tyrell all the way.

I have no idea about McCain.

And it's hard for me to think of any politician as anything but Slytherin, I feel like you would need to be a Slytherin to even have the slightest interest in making this your career. >.>

I was thinking Tyrell too. I went with Martell for McCain because he lives in the desert. It was a highly scientific choice.

Hahah, I went with Martell cause you picked it and then I thought about for a second and was like, "yeah, maybe...I could see that!". Serious science over here too. :P

I changed my vote to Tyrell now because it occurred to me that Oldtown is in the Reach.

I went with the mottos in the Westeros section, rather than the houses.

K! I voted on where the candidates live so what do I know.

With the Hogwarts houses I put them both in Gryffindor because of McCain time in the war and Obama's charisma. As for Westeros houses...I don't know. I sort of went on looks :/

I only voted for HP, since I don't know what Westeros is. I think McCain is probably a Gryffindor (acts first and asks questions later, brave) and Obama is a Ravenclaw (thoughtful, articulate, smart and a fast lerner).

Those are the same houses I picked. :D

McCain for Griffindor and Obama for Ravenclaw.
So I felt Obama should be in Tyrell because the guy has amazing PR and a more scholarly attitude which fits with Oldtown and the Reach.
I first had the feeling that McCain would be a perfect Arryn but the I thought of the "DO NOW, THINK LATER" Baratheons and I sort of went with them.

"DO NOW, THINK LATER" Baratheons
Ha! I am amused.

Of course the same could be said for the wild!Starks. (Hey, do you think Ned was friends with Robert because he reminded him of Brandon?)

Ned has a tendency to be friends with people who are more extroverted and active than himself, I think it's just an energy thing, he gets lifted up and reminded that there's a living world out there beyond his godswood.

I think he's friends with Robert "because" Robert was there and in childhood you have more friends due to proximity/availability than compatibility. But I think the introvert/extrovert dynamic is a part of the friendship's success (such as it was).

Haha, I wanted to add something like the last bit (and how two alpha males never mix) but... I didn't. :/
