negative

So it took a little longer than I expected, but I'm finally tested negative this morning. It was about 10 days from when I first felt symptoms so not bad. I think I was anxious because the minimum isolation period for my work was 6 days so it was longer than I expected. And while I had things that I can and should do onsite, none of it is super ( Read more... )

I'm just so negative that it's hard to make me positive.

It's not always cool to be positive! (Like this case... or electrons)

Yay for getting over COVID!

Nathan and I gave up on Picard after a few episodes. Discovery we gave the whole first season and part of the second season a chance but we weren't into it. But we're both really liking Strange New Worlds. And The Orville, which is close enough to Star Trek.

I somehow watched 2 seasons of Picard and regret it. I only made it through like 4 or 5 episodes of Discovery. I actually thought it started out well (first 2-3 episodes), but then got so bad so fast!

Like I said, I'll see if Strange New Worlds can save the franchise...

> And with that said, I think the CDC recommendations are kind of crazy. I'm not sure if they have been updated, but from what I saw, it's just 5 days isolation (as long as your symptoms get better) then 5 days of wearing a mask... no testing or anything.

yeah it is crazy. my husband tested positive for 14 days, which means he was contagious. A mask is not going to stop everything.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I blame political interference, or just that American's can't change their behaviors... and are they still recommending KN95s (tech solution versus behavioral, which is the American way).

KN95s are way more comfortable than N95s, in my opinion, so I don't mind if they want to recommend people wear KN95, but at this point, they're still only recommending people mask up and NOBODY IS

I'd recommend wearing any mask (actually require), then recommend a better mask when you have any reasons for it. I feel like it's wear the best, most awesome mask, or nothing!
