Adventures in Peterborough thus far:

Got in to Peterborough around noon on Thurs, worked from home for a few hours (Blech, why do i allow this.....)  threw the frisbee about for the dog and briefly saw my grandma. Radiohead was amazing. I may now have a bit of the trenchfoot from 8 hours of standing around in wet shoes and socks, and I may have to throw said shoes out,  and it may have taken us 1.5 hours to get out of there and walk to Union station (what were we thinking?) but as always it WAS WORTH IT.

It's amazing what a little sunshine and heat can do for your mood. My anxiety left this morning with the clouds and thunder and lightning from last night. My head feels calm now, that heaviness in my stomach is gone and I am somehow not falling asleep, despite my extremely random fits of sleep this week ( Read more... )

 I had a spurt of energy yesterday and actually unpacked most of the boxes from moving....sure, alot of it was jamming some stuff in the storage room and the storage closet, but at least the apartment is more spacious and you can even WALK through without whacking your hip on a box or something. The weekend was long. I need another one to recover from it. My dad was up and we helped my aunt move out of the family home (since 1932). There was much stuff and lifting, and as usual with my family, lots of drinking. Also lots of stuff that needed moving, and a lack of ANYONE having really gone through it before moving day.
