But oh gosh, these songs are amazing, Lauren. I don't know if I will be able to listen to all of them, but by the lyrics . . . goodness, they tell such a perfect story. You did a wonderful job, lovie!
I love you for your damien rice songs. And the words in the last song make me want to cry they are so beautifully perfect.
p.s. the coverart is supposed to go outside the lj-cut to lure people in. -giggles- not that anyone ever needs to be lured into a b/j mix. (even if it is all angsty and sad. -sniff-)

yay, i'm glad you think so! i think you should try to listen to them all, because they're really great songs, especially the damien rice and jeff buckley ones. and portishead. and stars, and muse...
so many of his songs fit, but i narrowed it down to three. aren't they? i love finding songs that are so appropriate.
ha, i wasn't sure if they were too big or not. but i've found a way to remedy that!

But I really like them! The end song is so special, not only because of the lyrics, of course, but I also like how soft and gentle it is -- the perfect song for the closure.
I loved Muse, Portishead and Fiest, especially. And Ben Lee too.
