Also, ouch. Maru...Maru...what the hell have you managed to get yourself into? I can't even defend you on this one. I'm hoping he catches on to what he did and can do some damage control and clarify what he meant, but I have a feeling he probably won't even realize what happened. Oh well...I'm sure this'll blow over like the debacle Koki got himself into with his solo PV. Stuff like this seriously makes me sad on how crappy the history lessons in Japan must be though, where they can take stuff from WWII so lightly.

The thing is I don't think he's even going to get in that much trouble with this. The Japanese fans probably didn't even care when he said that, just like Koki. For them I think this issue is not only blown over but doesn't have any steam to go on in the first place. Also it happened like a month ago so they probably would not bother to address something that's happened that long ago.
But yes, likewise, I am sadden over the poor education in Japan. They are basically just taught facts and are not taught to form opinions about them. (Based from my personal experience from going to a Japanese high school.)

I believe in Maru, although I'd like if he didn't like so much war related stuff... he really don't know what's a war (neither do I, thank God, but I understand that people suffer and die on both sides for causes that aren't exactly theirs and most of time, aren't worth giving up your life). He makes me think about a little boy enchanted by all the "bang bang".
It's a pity what he said and that it offended so many people.
I hope that he can make it up, by being himself.
And I'll continue to love and support him, watching him growing up <3

I thinks it's fine to like war movies in such. Some people like them because of its historic value or its patriotic value.
He probably just had a very poor choice of words.
Ha. I think Maru will continue to do what he's been doing all along so... no worries. He's not out to kill anyone. MURI.

it was entertaining reading the back and forth comments in arama about this..a bit frustrating too to read comments bashing nakamaru about a conversation in their radio show without hearing the whole premise of the said conversation..so thanks for the translation on that as well..
who he likes is his own business..if wants to express why he like this and that person, its his own prerogative..if i let this one incident affect how i see him, then that says more about me than him..that' how i see it, i guess.

Yup, my point exactly, we don't have to like him because of this, but it doesn't mean it has to become the reason we don't like him.
