Yeah, been playing GTA: San Andreas all weekend.
This is what games ought to be. The GTA series has always been good at creating a sense of place, and it just keeps getting better. And it's really coming into its own. I can't even begin to tell you how many hours I lost in that game. Loved. It. Probably one of the best games I've ever played.

I realized I loved the GTA series the first day I played it at my friend's. Missions? What's that? Go around killing people and evading police. That's what it's all about.

I hated the first two games because of the top-down view, but when GTAIII came out, I loved it. GTA:VC is the first video game I have ever given the title Best Game Ever. And GTA:SA totally eclipses it. Games like Gran Turismo and THPS will remain kings in their little niche, but GTA combines so many game styles that it is still fun.

Before I got San Andreas for christmas I flipped the board on Vice City for the dozenth time and it was still fun to play.

I like the new system where you suck with the weapon until you use it a lot.
