Edit: Oooo. Actually, a motorcycle jacket wouldn't be bad armor in that situation... Dead Rising had clothing customization, and that was fun. I hope this one has character customization like Saint's Row 2.

The big Xbox 360 racing game hits on Tuesday. My preorder's been in for months. I'm not looking forward to the game. I'm looking forward to one car, and one track. The Porsche 911 GT3 and the Nürburgring. I'll do whatever else I have to to unlock that combination, but then that's it.

I was looking up the reviews for Spider-man 3 when I discovered that the board game Catan is coming out for the 360. And they just released a really keen looking pinball simulator. Logged back on for the first time in what? 3 weeks? Had to learn to play all over again, but made some pretty decent progress. Also discovered that you can mix dyes, so now Miss Heavingbosom is wearing gold lamé.
And she was quite honored when Sith Lord Frodo informed her that she was sexy enough to join his guild.
Heh. I need one of these.

Yeah, been playing GTA: San Andreas all weekend.
This is what games ought to be. The GTA series has always been good at creating a sense of place, and it just keeps getting better. And it's really coming into its own. Started another character and started doing the story line missions. The game is obviously designed for team play. Missions that are slogs by yourself or with computer-controlled henchmen can be completed in a few minutes with a good team. I got Miss Heavingbosom (E/Me) up to level 13 in one Saturday.

Hmm. If you think of it as Diablo (or any rogue-like game) with better graphics, it's not too shabby. It's definitely got the same feel.

1. There's no way to jump, and you're prevented from leaping off cliffs or over fences, so it's got that 2D grid thing going on, even if the 3D graphics are glorious.

I bought Guild Wars. Ironically, it was reading about some of the difficulties people were having with it that made me interested. If it's that challenging, maybe it has more depth than it appeared to have. And Best Buy had it for $10 off.
