I bought Guild Wars. Ironically, it was reading about some of the difficulties people were having with it that made me interested. If it's that challenging, maybe it has more depth than it appeared to have. And Best Buy had it for $10 off.
Going through the install/update phase right now.

that's the massivly multi-player online game that you have to pay for updates... not for a subscription, am i correct?

do you know how it works if i decided to skip a few updates... if i decide to play again do i have to go buy the 2-3 updates I've missed? That's the only thing keeping me from playing I think, i'm affraid of that happening

It's getting to the point where there are areas/missions/quests I CANNOT get through using minions. You just have to have the intelligence of real players. And I'm two levels away from the level cap. It's easy until you cross over to searing (around 5-6 level) and after that, NOTHING is easy.
