I was listening to Dave Matthew's Band on my iPod earlier, and it got me to thinking. Hardly anyone in the UK has heard of them, but in America they're huge. And we hear about UK artists making in the US but you never really know how big they actually get or whether it's just hype. So if I have any American readers out there, please let me know if

all of these are big here, save for leona lewis and corrine bailey rae - i'm not familiar with them.. but the rest indeed! ryan adams is wonderful = my brother is a huge fan and sees many of his concerts several times a year.

That's interesting. Our newspapers here are going on about how Leona Lewis has smashed the US. I find it really interesting the perspectives from both sides of the pond!
