I was listening to Dave Matthew's Band on my iPod earlier, and it got me to thinking. Hardly anyone in the UK has heard of them, but in America they're huge. And we hear about UK artists making in the US but you never really know how big they actually get or whether it's just hype. So if I have any American readers out there, please let me know if you've heard of these artists and if so what they general opinion of them is.

Here goes: Joss Stone, Robbie Williams, Leona Lewis, Corrine Bailey Rae, Snow Patrol, James Blunt, Amy Winehouse.

And Ryan Adams is American but is he known in the States?
