So gut wrenching to be back at work :o( Literally as it turns out as I had a nasty bout of food poisoning on Wed/Thurs! Am better now tho, at least it was just a 48 hr thing. I do have some great work stuff coming up at the end of the month so it's not all bad.

It's hard to believe it's nearly Christmas, and miracle of miracles most of our shopping is done! We're celebrating by going to visit a deep sea aquarium tomorrow. Had a lovely weekend. Went to an exhibition on the suffragettes on Saturday which was really inspiring. They were campaigning for 60 years for votes for women! Makes you realise that it may take time but eventually you really can make a difference. As a human rights activitist that's good to hear. The weather in Scotland SUCKS! It's windy and wet over here. It doesn't exactly go well with my cold.

Was in London over the weekend at an Amnesty Local Groups Fundraisers Advisory Group. Was really inspiring. Had loads of ideas for next year! Also made me realise how lucky I am to be a member of such a dynamic and fun Amnesty local group.

Had the most fantastic weekend. Went to Dave's bandmate's B'day party where the guys played some music and a wee girl about 18 months old stole my shoes and hat (!) then on Sat night for halloween I went to a caberet night called VEGAS!
