It's been the most fabulous holiday - a bit gutted that I'm gonna be back to work on Tuesday :o(
Christmas rocked. Dave and I went to my parents place near Glasgow on Christmas eve and that evening went to the pub to see some friends we hadn't seen for a while. Then the big day was spent eating, eating, eating and drinking. My parents gave Dave and I an electric blanket for the bed (it's snowing here in Scotland so it's freezing!) and lots and lots of crockery and glasses. On Boxing day we headed back to Edinburgh and spent the afternoon with Dave's family. His sis was over from Glasgow and brother from Manchester, also a whole load of cousins were there who I had never met before. Since then we've been relaxing, seeing friends, and today we're off to a hogmany party for more eating and drinking!
