It's actually much simpler than it seems. My mother is terrified of them, so she'll never see them, and I simply don't mention them. My father and I speak every month or so, and he doesn't really pay attention. He's called every horse since 2010 "Bragg," despite the fact that Max was a palomino roan Appy, Dora was a tiny black Quarter Horse, and Jacob was a bay Tennessee Walker... and Bragg is a tall chestnut Thoroughbred. He thinks they all look the same!
