It made me wonder why you didn't call the police to report it. If they are paying more attention to recreational activities than driving they could kill someone, and everyone who noticed and failed to stop them shares a tiny fraction of the blame.

We have a surprisingly good mill down here that has a number of exotic woods and can do custom cuts and runs. I don't know what a large amount of what you are looking or would run but it is an option. I get some of my knife handle wood from their cut off bin and even in the cut offs there are some good pieces.

those wide cuts are hard... if I have to cut four inch wide cuts, it'll take a long time to put together things for chests and things that are 20-24 inches across...
