I'm so thrilled you decided to go for this fic and flattered to be even loosely associated with it :-). It's lovely, nuanced and detailed like everything else you write... I like to imagine their 500-year-old selves, having the same arguments and politicking between them.

And the ending... perfect. Give me that horizon. Fantastic work :-)

Of course you must be associated with it! If I hadn't been chatting with you, this fic would have never been written. Thank you for the encouragement and beta-ing and reminding me why I love them.

There's another fic in there somewhere about them being on MUCH less good terms, but I haven't been in the mood to write it yet.

Well, sweets, what a novel idea you've writ. Sounds like the beloveds speaking and that Elisabeth might have grown weary and sad about the loss of Will after this time. Very wonderful description of his new 'girl'. I love that he loves his ship and it shows that he cares for her in that way. He always had a kindness as well, like it that you showed him caring for Lizzie. Thanks.

How beautifully written this is, beginning on a note of tragedy and progressing at a perfect pace and pitch to a lighthearted renewal of love and freedom. A surfeit of riches today, with you and viva_gloria posting fic! Many, many thanks for this.

There's definitely more fic-stuff in there somwhere, but I just don't have enough time to write lately for me to say definitely whether I'd write more in this vein. Thanks so much for the lovely comment. So glad you enjoyed it, and sorry it took me so long to get back to you...RL has been very busy.
