What do they do to you if they catch you on the train with no ticket and no money to buy one, anyway? We had a whole lesson in college on what happens if you do that in Germany, but I don't know what the SEPTA rules are.

The only info I can find says that people refusing to pay the fare on SEPTA "will not be carried." I assume that means you're put out at the next stop. No word on whether you get arrested. It also says that people who can't pay have to fill out a form of some sort, and if they refuse to do that they "will not be carried."
(Fun fact: While googling to make this icon, I learned that you can scuba dive through old SEPTA subway cars off the Jersey Shore. They were placed there as an artificial reef. Now I wish I knew how to dive, because that sounds like fun.)
