father/daughter or brother/sister

Yeah. My Ass. Sorry for the harsh words...

Why do I say that, you ask? I just happen to have six examples -in order of when I saw it-:

-Jareth/Sarah - Labyrinth
.Who failed? David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly well, pretty much just David Bowie -"Love me. Fear me. Do as I say and I'll be your slave." Do I really need to explain this one? ( Read more... )

fandom: i ship it, movies: star wars, tv: doctor who, thud: neal mcdonough, thud: hugh jackman, tv: firefly, fandom: from the f-list, thud: vin diesel, thud: ewan mcgregor, movies: labyrinth, tv: tin man

Cain/DG - Tin Man
.Who failed? Neal McDonough and Zooey Deschanel
-In this case, the writers even admitted that they specifically wrote the subtext in there. Neal can deny it all he wants. I'm not blind.

I agree I know Neal said father/daughter but to quote a 7 yr. old who saw it ' I don't look at my dad that way and he doesn't look at me that way.' Maybe the writers should have told Neal the obvious -Cain+DG = OTP

Hugh can say whatever he wants , you can't deny chemistry.

Jareth/sarah- what u said , again the same 7 yr. old say it ,agrees with us.

Can I just say how happy I am you noticed the chemistry between ewan and natalie ,plus mal and river *huggles you* i thought i was the only one.

Agrees with #1 and #2 (Especially two because I hated Jean.)

Haven't watched #3. (Hand where?)

#4 I only complain about because I am possessive of Obi-Wan and while I love Natalie Portman I wasn't fond of Amidala.

#5 Prefer it. I'm not a fan of Mal/Inara!

#6 Haven't seen it (yet) but I'll take your word on it.

What about the people who see Doctor/Rose (esp. Nine/Rose) and father/daughter? *waits for rant*

Good call... I didn't think of Nine/Rose... or Ten/Rose

*prefers Nine over Ten*

And HAWWWWWWWWT.

*thud*

#6 - *will have to bribe you with fics until you see it. Is vury vury gut*

I need -- *headdesk* -- to see -- *headdesk* -- LABYRINTH. I have a T-shirt with that line on it and I still have not seen the movie. Argh.

Agreed on the last two, to the point where I'm shipping Mal/River in my dreams. No, seriously. Last night I dreamed I was River. :-)

As for the dreams... you say that like it's a BAD thing.. o.O

I love you like DG loves Glitch: I would dearly love to bowl you over with hugs!

*rueful smile* Being River in my dreams isn't so bad, except when I'm fighting and get -- gasp! -- injured. Some bitch caught me across the belly last night, and boy, did that hurt.

...and now I am talking like I actually was River. O-kay. Where's the nice padded room?

I was directed to it by buffybot76 about 5 minutes after weI started arguing the finer points of the similarities between Cain and Jareth.

*and Family Reunion was born* :D

Who needs a padded room?! I have cookies! *tempts River-you over*

Hmm, let's see here...

1) I agree

2) oooh, I agree!

3) I agree again! ^_^

4) no... wait.... yep, still agree!

5) *sighs* I see a pattern forming here. I AGREE!

6) wait for it... wait for it... *gasps* well, what'd'ya know? I agree! ^__^

And another: Nine/Rose? so not father/daughter! Who looks at those two and thinks "Well, those two are related, there's no sexual tension there whatsoever..." Pffft! Whatever! *rolls eyes*

Welp, I'm done. G'Night Erin! *signs off for the night*

I'm telling you -- the day we are in the same room, the world will probably implode! :)

Yep... can't believe I forgot Nine/Rose *runs off to edit*

Um, world imploding? That would be bad, wouldn't it? I don't want the world to implode! >_> Guess it's a good thing I'm so broke most of the time that I doubt we'll get to ever meet face to face. *sighs* Sad, but true. >_

I agree with you on every bit and love all pairings mentioned above (though I'm going to have to rewatch the SW prequels to check THAT pairing out!) and were I on a good healthy state of mind (sleepy, too sleepy), I'd snog you. Or threaten to snog you. Or threaten to scare you with snogging. -_- See? Sleepiness brings all kinds of bads. All kinds. *collapses*

Your first offer? I don't believe you :P

Now to a coherent reply, because you deserve it (and snoggage too).

Jareth/Sarah - Labyrinth
You know, my mom always said I was weird because every time I watched that movie (as a kid), I always got pissed at Sarah. I'd yell, 'Forget the step-brother! I'm staying with him!' *facepalm* Anyway, yeah, I love this pairing. Probably my first fandom pairing, if you don't count cartoons...

Logan/Rogue - X-Men
This makes you SO deserving of snoggage. I totally saw the OTP in that. Seriously! He is supposedly after Jean, but Rogue is the one he's always watching out for and being closer to more than anyone else and it's a DUH she has a crush on him. So SO duh.

Riddick/Jack (aka Kira) - The Chronicles of Riddick
Vin, I have a brother. No brother would ever put his hand there, even during a "disagreement."
LMAO I couldn't have said it better myself.

Obi-Wan/Padme (aka Amidala) - Star Wars prequelsHmmm, I've heard about this OTP and have to admit it's not far fetched. Actually, I could come to like ( ... )

First, indeed.

*flail* just doesn't seem like the right response. But I don't know any other phrase...

*sigh*

You'll just have to accept my utter devotion for all time. *nods*
