Aside from Summerslam IV way back in the day.. my first WWE was the night HHH and HBK came out as Vince and Shane. And I was hooked.

It was a massive tossup - you want 'taker to hold the streak, but you want to root for HBK. I didn't know the stipulation until the match started last night. But, if you're gonna go out,

I don't know if you saw it, but wwe.com had a video of HBK after the match, and he was talking about staying involved somehow (I think!). I really, HIGHLY doubt that we'll never see him again!....but I miss him already :(

The last I really remember of "professional wrestling" is Rip Hawk, Swede Hansen, George Becker, Haystack Calhoun, (the 'Big Splash!), and Don McClarity (sp).

Oh, and the 'Amazing Bolo' and Gorgeous George...

I do not mean this as derision, these people were great performers and astounding athletes.

Dude... that match had the whole party SPLIT and yelling.

They said that, even if he lost, he deserved the applause, because holy SHIT. I was squirming the whole time!

I don't get why these people torture themselves so much. It's just... it's painful to watch, I can't imagine what its like to be the one IN the ring.
