*hugs for and your brother*

When I had my accident last year at my son's school, he was standing with me and every officer that stopped by pointed at my son and asked if he was driving. o.O

I was trying to figure out which one was Garrett and Wyatt and decided that they have a little of Connor and Murphy in them.

OK, a) WTF paying $400 for A SINGLE TIRE?!? Get a Yokohama performance for $150. B) WTF is up with the timing belt?? Is this one of those "the dealership is holding my car hostage" situations, where J has seen No Problems, but the Dealership, snooping under the hood (because just a new tire does not necessitate checking the timing belt), DECIDES what he needed, and won't let him get the car unless he pays through the nose for SOMETHING?!?! See, this is why I never ever go to a dealership for maintenance.

The Ranger says actually, $999 for a VW timing belt is pretty cheap.... he drives a Passat. It's a money sucking pit lemon of a car.....

Oh... the parents came down to pay for it/check stuff out and we went to dinner. Upon leaving the restaraunt, the car died in the turn lane and when J popped the hood and started it again, there was a mini-Old Faithful of gasoline.

The fuel line popped off.

*headdesk*

Damn Germans....

J says that the tire was probably $150 - they had to drill out the lugnut to get the tire off, etc.

The drama llama loves my family, yo o.O
