The brother lost a tire last night, just before he got onto I-4. Entire sidewall went. DRAMA!! I headed over to hang out with him while he waited for roadside and a Sheriff stoped by. Told J that he probably thought we'd hit each other and the brother said I was wrong. Damned if the deputy didn't start calling in the cars and reaching for his clipboard. o.O
Anyway... after about an hour of drama - how many deputies does it take to try and loosen a lugnut that we've already told them won't come loose? Two, along with the roadside guy. *facepalm* - a towtruck finally arrived and the Jetta was towed to a "secure location", then dropped at the dealer this morning for repairs.
One $400-tire and a $999 timing belt later........... *headdesk* the brother should have the Jetta back by 4pm
We were going to go over to Universal for the first Mardi Gras parade... but now I'm not in the mood to go ANYWHERE... Dad's covering the car, pre-paying J's tax return, in theory.
Whatever. We're still broke as SH!T... o.O

I read some fic this morning, and played some Neopets and some Webkinz and am on my second Pepsi. Good news: I started some laundry and watched The Boondock Saints again.
I want to write... but I'm just not in the mood... *grumble*
Maybe I'll go for another round of Facebook!Tetris....
