I love Kahlan´s way of getting closer and closer... and how Cara allows her own weaknesses when she´s around.
The plot is intriguing! I really wonder how far Richy will go and why Cara doesn´t heal properly...

Great chapter. Cara & Kahlan's relationship is so sweet and natural. I could read their interactions all day.
I'm really puzzled by Richard's behavior. If I had not read what he had done, I would totally believe his lies. He seems sincere and pretty much himself in this chapter. But he didn't have any interaction with Cara and somehow she seems to be the catalyst of his evil self. I can't wait to find out what's really going on.

This was a great update. I'm really intrigued to see where you take Richard's character as he seems so contradictory. How can he go from monster to nice bloke so easily? This is really good, though I still want Kahlan to find out what happened and go all Con Dar on him. Also the way Cara and Kahlan's relationship is developing is so realistic and beautiful as they get closer. You really capture the characters well and write a very intriguing story. Thank you for sharing this and please please update soon!
