Absolutely loved it &hearts Backstory fics are my favorite, gives the character so much more depth and it's something I wish they would have done while Brooke was still on the show.

Figured Halloween was a good time to let folks know that I doing some 'crossover dressing' this summer. The story should be tagged as written by iahnhiatm.

At first I thought at the end of the crossover challenge that I could leave my bingo card behind me. Those stories though seemed to seep into my own AU canon so looks like Human's Erica now comes along with a bunch of crossover friends and surrogate family members in my cracked out mind.

Oh, this made me smile! I can see little Erica as Dorothy, clicking away at her heels. The idea of Erica in Salem simply delights me! Been far too long since I've been there. I'll have to get there when I'm back in the States so I can be properly inspired to (and informed with) writing a sequel to this. (;

Many years ago I saw Margret Hamilton make an appearance at a small animal rights related rally that I happened to crash in Manhattan. Even her wiki mentions her activism in this area:

Throughout the 1970s, Hamilton lived in New York City's Gramercy Park neighborhood and appeared on local (and some national) public service announcements (PSAs) for organizations promoting the welfare of pets.

I'm glad you enjoyed it and even are thinking of a sequel. Guess less is more with my writing these days it seems. :)

Well, well, well. The notion that you might have this little gig going did cross my mind but I just didn't think you'd be so sneaky so I dismissed it. So glad to see this partnership works. I really enjoyed the crossover collaboration. :D

Well I really felt bad when you wanted to friend our no_guts_glory site and had to ask you just to track it instead. I tried to be the less talkative of the pairing because I figured the more I wrote in response to comments and such then the more likely I would blow our cover.

Guess you can only pull this sort of thing off once as now most folks with be a bit more skeptical in the future. Thanks so much for being one of the early readers as we posted them this summer.

Yeah that part is the treat and my identity deception was certainly a trick. Also liked how Days of Our Lives just happened to be set in Salem which seemed like a good Halloween town name for Erica to find herself again.
