I know it's been a decade since The Iron Giant, but I nominate Vin Diesel for Smaug's voice.

Who did Vin voice in Iron Giant? I'm guessing the big guy himself?

BTW, am I the only person who ever teared up a bit at his last line in the movie? "Su-per-man..."

I feel there should be a bit of computer meddling in Smaug's voice. The animated voice actor was really good, but I'm betting they tampered with the original sound just a bit. A good choice would be something like Tichondrius, Varimathras, or Archemonde from Warcraft
