Then you owe it to yourself to read this. Amadis of Gaul, one of the great fantasy novels, written at the end of the medieval period, it was the Lord of the Rings of its day. I'm waiting for the scene in which we find the idle of Calyferne, with its cities of gold and population of lusty, naked Amazons.

Now, see, why isn't OUR state of California more like that?
