Happy Fastnacht Day!

In the Big Easy they celebrate Mardi Gras, when fifty thousand drunken Cajuns run through the streets chanting "Le grand tetons!" at every woman they see, but here among a civilized people, the Pennsylvania Dutch, we celebrate Fastnacht Day and eat a donut instead ( Read more... )

Clearly, you weren't the only one who had a problem with him then. Good to see they did the right thing!

And I'm glad that I spend every Mardi Gras north of the chaos...although that might not be the case next year. o.o

You mean send him to a church that Todd Agnew sings about in his song, "My Jesus"?

I am greatful for the pastor I have. He shows his humanity, his failures and repents. Like the rest of us.
That's why, while everyone left our church, I stayed. =)

I hope your next pastor is more human and lives and preaches Christ in humility and reverence so that he can be an example to all.

Some days you will write less. Some days you will write more. Whatever, I want to encourage you as much as possible.

You can do it, but like anything we do for Lent, it will sometimes be tough.
