For some reason, the Rathouse there was one of my favorite things in Austria.

I'm glad I got pictures of the Rathaus, because later on I won't be able to distinguish which building was which; there are so many incredible ones in this town. Even the apartment buildings look older than our entire country.

Awesome. Sounds like a very interesting trip! Vienna looks like a pretty big city.. How would you say it relates to seattle in size?

Those pictures of St. Stephen's Cathedral are great... Its so creepy/cool gothic.

It's hard to say -- I believe I read it was about 4 million, which makes it maybe twice the size of Seattle? Except the distribution is different; the downtown area is much less dense (no high-rise condos, just lots of 4-storey buildings), but the high-density apartments continue out in every direction for much farther than they do in Seattle. Also the geography here is pretty much completely flat, for miles in every direction. People ride beach-cruiser-type bicycles everywhere, almost no mountain bikes, because there aren't any hills.
