I would love to have an in-built lie detector! Any word in Arabic that you want to know specifically? (I studied Islam science, but it has been quite some time since I used that language...) Ma'a salama! (Good bye! literally: with peace)
Built-in lie detectors are VERY handy. I wish it would always work on the internet, though, but ah well...
Arabic: how about "take your hands off my pizza and buy one for yourself?" :-D That would be very useful! :D
(Islam science? That's neat. Is your job connected with that, or did you end up doing something completely different? Only curiosity, you don't have to reply if it's too personal.:D)
Ok, I had to look up some words in the dictionary, and I'm not sure about the word 'pizza', but it would be something like this: Ahil (that's a throaty h) yadaik min al-pizza (?, actually that would be 'the pizza', 'my pizza' would be something like 'pizzaty') wa 'shtara wahid (slightly throaty h) li nafsik. Aaargh, that is difficult to write in latin letters. (All i's pronounced like e's, I still have the German transcriptions in mind, sorry.) By the way, it make a difference if you say it to a male or female person - if you say the endings at all; most leave them out (yadaika m. - yadaiki f., nafsika m. - nafsiki f.).
Still looking for a job! *grins* But I turned my attention quite immediately after the exams to software development - much better chance to get a job, though it is still difficult as a beginner, sigh.
Thank you, love it as well! So do the cats. We constantly fight over it. ;)
EAR!
Piano lessons? You're booked! Take your family and the piano and come here, I've got a spare room. :D
PE = Performance Enhancement. Specialised field of IT engineering. And they all could do with PE because darn it, that's a bunch of geeks, I tell you...
ooooh, a lighthouse! For as long as I remember I've wanted to live in a lighthouse. But now I think I'm too old to climb the stairs. Would have to put in a lift.

And I second the telephone hatred. I'll be very happy if telephones ever become completely optional for everyday life!
