There are many addictions, some less, some more harmfull than others. I'm not quite sure where "IKEA" rates on the addiction-scale, but I know that I got it baaaaad

You do. You absolutely do. Lots of picture frames and even more vanilla candles. I even buy picture frames because they are pretty, not because I got any pictures. How sad is that?!?
The IKEA catalog arrived in the mail last week and now this post... I think it's about time for our summer trip. I can't think of anything I need, but I bet I'll find something when we get there...
There isn't one room in our house that doesn't have at least two items from IKEA. I personally owns three 'Billy the bookshelf'. ;)
Then again, shopping at IKEA is practically mandatory when you're a Swede.
Aaaah, Billy, the infamous shelf! "Quick and easy self-assemblage in 15 minutes". Maybe in Sweden, but not in Switzerland, hehehe! Or maybe it's just that I have two left hands.
It looks amazing...as it always does after you've been to IKEA. The shoe caddy is a great idea for the artwork. *Pencils in trip to IKEA on trip schedule*
I envy you the opportunity to shop at one, and you made some excellent purchases. Your workstation now looks much more efficient. An IKEA just opened in a northern suburb of Dallas, last week, but that town doesn't have any bus service. *major pouts* And there is no way that I'll try to pedal my bike the 60 or so miles. (like the mere 3 baskets would be enough to carry home what I'd want to purchase, if I had any money) I watched the television reporters wandering around the opening, talking to customers, etc. at the grand opening and was doing some serious drooling. We'd received a catalog from them in the mail prior to the opening and my husband was wishing that we could "redo" the entire apartment from their stuff.
It really improves my work situation. As I work mostly from home, it's important to me that I can find things quickly when I look for them, and that the cats can't throw anything over. :)
That's too bad the shop is so far away. :( Here, it's 10 minutes drive. I have no driving licence, but Miss C.'s parents have a huuuuuuuge car :D
You could online shop, though - but it's not as much fun as actually being there and "test sitting" on all the sofas and chairs. But at the speed IKEA spreads all over the world, it's only a matter of time till one will open in front of your door.
